Our Purpose:

The purpose of this church is to glorify God 

at all times in accordance with the teachings of Scripture

(I Cor. 10:31; Col. 3:17)

1.  By remaining faithful to the Word of God, the Bible

(Jude 3-4; cf. II Tim. 4:1-4).

2.  By equipping the saints for the work of ministry through exhortation, edification, restoration, and prayer

(Eph. 4:11-16; Heb. 10:24-25; Gal. 6:1; Jas. 5:16).

3.  By obeying the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ in making disciples 

(Matt. 28:19-20).

Our Name:

 ​​​The Grace Fellowship 

of Mineral Baptist Church​

is a small fellowship of believers with a deliberate focus on glorifying God through the Gospel of His Son and our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.

"GRACE" - Salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, and in Christ alone (Eph. 2:8-10).

"FELLOWSHIP" - The church is not a building made with hands, but rather a fellowship of people built by God.  While it is true that we meet in a building graciously provided by God, it is the people that make up the church of Christ (Matt. 16:18; 1Pet. 2:4-5).

"Mineral Baptist Church"

 Mineral Baptist Church came to be, by the grace of God, in 1886.  Of course, much has happened over the past 125+ years.  If the Lord tarries, our desire is to remain faithful to Him and His Word for the next 125 years!
